Warren Dermatology and Mohs Surgery is a multi-provider outpatient office providing high quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. We’re busy and getting busier, so we’re looking for someone who wants to help us take our practice even higher.

This is not your everyday medical assistant position

This is an unusual opportunity — if you’re up to the challenge, you’ll have the kind of varied, active, and hands-on role that most medical assistants only dream of. You’ll have the opportunity to assist with medical dermatology and complex outpatient surgeries. We are busy and high energy, but have fun and laugh throughout the day.

Ideally, you will:

  • multi-task and function effectively in a busy clinical environment
  • welcome substantial on-the-job training
  • have reliable attendance and arrive on time
  • be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • be a self-starter with good initiative and a strong work ethic
  • be dependable and hard working
  • have a positive attitude and work well on a team
  • be kind, considerate, and compassionate — both with patients and your collogues
  • be able to assist in both small and large outpatient surgical procedures, give injections, medication administration, effective telephone triage
  • have basic computer skills (EMR experience recommended, but not required)
  • have 6 months a year of clinical experience (recommended, but not required)

  • Relevant: 1-year (Preferred but not required)
  • Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
  • medical office: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

License:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
